Everest panorama Trek is relatively comfortable but very scenic adventure trek, provides a great introduction to Sherpa community and its culture with great mountain views of the world the highest peaks, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and other many snowy peaks and takes you up high along trails to Namche and Tyangboche Monastery without the struggle of high altitude trekking.
This trek is ideal for those who have less time and still want an experience of Khumbu and Sherpa culture and a view of Mountains including most famous Mount Everest and the most beautiful Mountain Ama Dablam.
Our trek begins with an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. We then begin our trek through Sherpa village, a long gurgling river and across high suspension bridges, meeting zopkyo (family of yak and nak) caravan on the way. Entering the Sagarmatha National Park we arrive at Namche Bazaar, a colorful, bustling market with traders from the surrounding villages as well as were coming from far -away Tibet . We continue our destination the Tyangboche monastery within the imposing peak of Thamserku looming over the trail with some tremendous views of the very beautiful mountain Ama Dablam as well as the views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and more of this region. returning to Lukla via famous Khumjung village and Syangboche (charter pilatus aircraft available in to this runway) and Namche Bazaar and a flight back to Kathmandu.

Pashupatinath Temple is One of the most sacred Hindu shrine in the world. The two storied pagoda houses a sacred lignum or the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Although the temple dates back to the 4th century, it was brought into its present shape in the early 18th century. The temple is most noted for its gold-plated roofs and silver-coated doors.
Bouddhanath Stupa is the world's largest stupa of its kind. The unique aspect of this great Buddhist monument is that it is set in the octagonal mandala design.
After your blessingful tour, you have to final prepare your trekking equipment for Everest Panorama trek.
An early morning flight takes us to Lukla Tenzing-Hillary Airport at 2804 meters after 35 minutes scenic flight. Lukla is the hub airport to Khumbu which renamed Tenzing-Hillary Airport too. On arrival at the airport guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610 meters.
After your breakfast at Phakding, crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi the walk is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again, with magnificent view of Thamserku (6608m), from the village of Benkar, cross the long suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river, after the bridge on this busy trail of trekkers and Jhopkyo (Crossed Yak/ox) and porters, finally reaching at a small village of Monjo after the last 20 minutes climb from the stream. Monjo is situated below the magnificent peak of Thamserku and near the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park.
After few minutes walk from Monjo, comes to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. From here a short descend and a gradual walk brings to the suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river, after the bridge Jorsalle village is reached, the last village before Namche Bazaar is reached, from here the walk is along the winding uphill path all the way to Namche, with magnificent view of Kwangde peak and it other sister peaks towards east, with Kusum kangru on the back as you climb higher, view of Mt. Everest- Nuptse wall, Lhotse and the closer view of Taweche peak can be seen all the way up to Thop Danda, where there's a resting stone wall for the porters and trekkers few years ago a teahouse existed here, from here another 1-2 hour walk up brings to the famed Namche, the colourful houses are situated in an amphitheatre U shaped bowl.
Namche Bazaar (3441m) known as the capital of Khumbu and the Gateway to Everest which is home to many good hotels and lodges here, along the whole Everest trail this is quite a big village.
We will spend a day here in Namche Bazzar (3441 meters) order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air. Suggested activities a short walk uphill to the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snow capped giants and the valleys way down, As well as a short trek where a museum is celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people.
Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks.
We trek to Tyangboche monastery an altitude of 3860 meters today. The walk is fairly easy for the first half, after a 20 minutes climb to the top ridge of Namche Bazaar. Once at the top near the park museum the walk follows on the gradual trail with few short up and downs overlooking magnificent view of the great giant snow peaks from Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde-ri peak after a pleasant walk of two hours coming to a small place at Shanasa.
On this area there is more chances of seeing the beautiful colourful Danphe pheasant (Impeyan Pheasant) National bird of Nepal and the elusive musk deer, and sometime even herd of Himalayan Thar (mountain goat like large antelope) from Shanasa with short up and downhill, the trial descend to Imjatse river at Phunkitenga (3250m), a small settlement with couple of teahouses in the midst of the alpine woods of mostly silver fir blue pines, rhododendron and some few magnolia and birch trees. The walk from here is strenuous for nearly two hours on the winding trail through the shade of woods with great view of Thamserku and Kantega.The finally reaching at Tyangboche one of the most beautiful place in the Himalaya beneath the majestic peak Ama Dablam with Everest looming above the Nuptse wall in the north with Mt. Lhotse and Lhotse Shar towards north east and more peaks all around you.
On reaching Tyangboche our guide will tell you about the local monastery situated here. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the days trekking went.
Retrace the journey back to Shanasha, from Shanasha where the trail from Khumjung (3800m), Gokyo and to Namche meets. From here our route follows away from the main busy path, the walk winds up all the way to Khumjung-Khunde Valley. Khumjung (3800m) unlike Namche is a sleepy farm village with the only monastery believed to be scalp of a yeti.
An comfortable day downhill walk today, from Khumjung half an hour walk brings you to its sister village at Khunde, where you can visit the hospital of this high altitude Khumbu area, built by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation. After a visit at the Khunde hospital the trail leads south passing thorough the Sherpa's house and farm fields and coming to the long mani prayer wall. A short uphill climb from here brings to the top ridge of Syangboche air strip.
From this spot it’s a big descend to the Dudh Koshi river bed. As the walk progress on this steep downhill bit from Syangboche onwards, an aerial view of Namche Bazar is seen from this downhill slope walk, on reaching Namche Bazar retrace the journey all the way to Monjo for the overnight, which is located just near after the Sagarmatha National Park entrance and exit point.
Last day of this great trek will be one of the good walk to Lukla, you can walk at your own best pace, leisurely and enjoying the lush green scenery around. Apart from few short uphill the only long climb will be just before Lukla which will take approximately 45 minutes from a place called Choplung or from the old big oak tree. On reaching Lukla, Enjoy time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Prepare for the last day great dinner and a party with the fellow Sherpa crew, porters and trekking members.
The flight time to Kathmandu are schedule for normally for morning, sometime the flight time can be delayed due to bad weather and other reason, depending upon the flight time make way to the terminal for security check, this scenic flight from Lukla takes about 35 minutes to Kathmandu, a scenic view of the snow capped peaks can be seen from window of the plane. Arrive Kathmandu domestic terminal and drive to your Hotel.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your final flight departure.
The trip ends, our Airport Representative will take you to the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure.
